Kirsty’s Dog Walking Terms and Conditions

 

1. Kirsty’s Dog Walking agrees to provide a high level of service to the client and perform the agreed services in an attentive, reliable and caring manner.

2. Kirsty’s Dog Walking will not walk more than two dogs per Walker.

3. All dogs will be subject to an initial meet and greet by Kirsty’s Dog Walking prior to using Kirsty’s Dog Walking services. Kirsty’s Dog Walking will not accept aggressive dogs. Owner is to make full disclosure of any quality or characteristic problems which might make your dog not suitable for walking.

4. Kirsty’s Dog Walking accepts no liability for any dog that may cause harm to a person or another dog or damage to property, or for any injury the dog may sustain in the care of Kirsty’s Dog Walking whether as a result of any accident the dog may be involved in, or otherwise.

5. The client agrees to cover all costs arising from any claim in the event their dog should attack a person or other animal.

6. In extreme circumstances Kirsty’s Dog Walking reserves the right to terminate a service.

7. Kirsty’s Dog Walking are covered by third party liability insurance, but it is highly recommended that the client takes out their own third-party pet insurance. 

8. Dogs will only be walked if wearing a collar with an identity tag and have a lead. The client agrees that dogs will be walked on the lead and only walked off-lead after signed consent is provided by the client on the booking form. Kirsty’s Dog Walking accepts no liability for any loss or mishap which may befall a dog. 

9. Emergencies: In the event of an emergency the client authorises Kirsty’s Dog Walking to take their dog to a vet. Kirsty’s Dog Walking will endeavour to notify the client of any emergency that may require veterinary intervention. If Kirsty’s Dog Walking is unable to contact the client, the client authorises Kirsty’s Dog Walking to take the dog to the vet and the client will meet any resulting veterinary bills.

10. The Client agrees that, by signing the key holder waiver form, this will indemnify Kirsty’s Dog Walking in full against any liability arising from loss or damage to the property or its contents, in present or future circumstances. 

11. Cancellation: No less than 24 hours’ notice cancellation of walks/visits are required or fees will still be payable.

12. Kirsty’s Dog Walking will accept payment by Bank (at least 24 hours in advance) or in Cash (left in your home on the day) by agreement.
